i consider my art a blend of cinematic, documentary, and editorial-style photography. whether you want a more fly-on-the-wall approach or a "pose me like the cover of vogue" type of photo, i work with all of my clients to discover their ideal style. My images are captured to tell a story, all of the messy, exciting details life brings. no two galleries will ever look the same because i will never be the photographer that will pose and tweak you until achieving the "perfect" photo. to me, perfect is when something is truly authentic. each photo is carefully edited with the consideration of emotions in mind.
i always have and always will draw so much of my creative inspiration from other forms of art. music, cinema, paintings, i use each one to craft an idea. i've learned to romanticize my life and live each day as a "main character" in my own rom-com. that means finding beauty in everything from that drop of coffee on the counter to the lines of traffic filled with people who are also living for the first time. i find myself listening to songs and picturing movie scenes in my head. my friends tell me i remind them of the scene from RATATOUILLE when he describes food in colors.
i have 3 boy cats that are my whole entire life, i love them like they are my children. i use them and my boyfriend to model when i get new camera gear. i love fresh tattoos and sharp eyeliner. if you ask for my coffee order i'm going to tell you an iced chai tea with almond milk every single time. i love psychological thriller and horror movies, but i'm a sucker for a corny and predictable coming-of-age movie. i spend my free time building legos and watching youtube channels from my childhood. i like driving with the windows down in the summer when the air is crisp and cold while blasting music and screaming at the top of my lungs. i'm a lover of love, any way it comes.
