How to Build Your Details Box
The morning of your wedding is chaotic enough, the last thing you need is you, your bridesmaids, or your photographer scrambling to find all your accessories for the perfect flat-lay photo. I always send my clients a cheat sheet listing all of the details/accessories needed for photos about 1-2 weeks before the wedding so they can gather them and have them packed for the big day.
I recommend a bag or box for the bridal details and a separate bag or box for the groom’s details. When I arrive on the morning of your wedding day, I head to the Bridal Suite first to gather these items and start shooting. Once I’m done, I head over to the Groom and drop off any of the accessories I was using for detail photos. This saves you and your “I Do Crew” from any excessive morning of errands.

Sentimental Details
If there are any textured or sentimental details you love and feel would make great accent items to your detail shots then feel free to throw those in there too! Things like lace, fur, miniature plants, pretty rocks, trinket dishes, and anything else related to your wedding theme always add a personal touch.

Please have your dress on a decorative hanger. If you didn’t buy one specifically for it, that’s okay! Any nice wooden hanger will do just fine :) Try to avoid any flimsy, plastic hangers as they’re difficult to hang from obscure places and often droop causing your dress to not look as beautiful as it actually is.

Florals
Bridal Bouquet and/or any additional clippings or spare florals make for beautiful detail photos. If possible, I will grab the groom’s boutonniere and incorporate it if the bridal party or bride's bouquet are unavailable. I personally LOVE dried versions of the florals in your bouquet.

Invitation suite
If any ribbons, wax seals, dried florals, etc please include all of these items including an envelope and all parts of your invitation. I always suggest mailing an additional invite to your photographer so you don’t have to worry if you forget yours the morning of!
NOTE: keep these items together in one place (For example: a shoebox). the Bride's items in one box and the groom's in another. If you are getting ready at separate locations, then please keep ALL rings and vow books with the bridal items, including the groom’s ring.
